Hello ,
We are a recruitment company - Marceng - based in Belfast and looking for experienced TIG or MIG/MAG welders and fabricators (lacatus industrial) for our clients across Northern Ireland.
This is our offer:
full time position - 40 hours/week
with the possibility of overtimes
the salary is £8/hour
we help you with:
-finding accommodation for the price of £25-40/week
-opening a bank account
-first steps of getting National Insurance Number - without this you can not work legal in the UK (this covers : medical services, pension base, social services)
After 16 weeks worked with us you have the possibility that the company you work for to employ you directly , so the salary can go up to £10-12/hour.
At the moment of arriving you have to do a welding test, after passing it we take you to the clients. At the company you need to do another welding test or a 1-3 days trial period job - so they can decide if your personal skills, competences and professionalism fulfills their expectation .
Our clients are producing/repairing industrial and agricultural machines , trailers, stairs, etc.
The ideal candidates must have minimum 2-4 yeas experience in welding/ fabrication , a conversational level of English (don't have to be perfect but to maintain a basic conversation with his supervisor). Is it also preferable (but not excluding criteria) that welders to be able to read and work out technical plans and drawings.
